At the City Council meeting on Monday, June 21st, 2010 Mayor Dennis Schuster proclaimed the week of July 1-7, 2010 as Independents Week.
Independents Week is important to the economy of Beastrice and the local downtown community.
Independents Business Week is a time to recognize our locally owned businesses for the time and talent they have given Beatrice.
To help celebrate Independents Week look for an up coming promotion sponsored by Main Street businesses called BUY LOCAL BINGO.
