Save the Date! Nebraska Governor's Pheasant Hunt will be held on November 5-6, 2010. 

The Nebraska Governor's Pheasant Hunt is a 2-day excursion including both classic and european style hunts through Gage County with the goal of capturing the coveted Grand Champion trophy.

Local, national and international hunters are all warmly welcomed.  In the past we have hosted hunters from Gage County New York, Texas, Florida, Nebraska, and cadets from West Point Academy. 

 
Hunt events begin on Friday with an open shoot at the Beatrice Gun Club followed by a reception at Valentino's Restaurant.  After an early breakfast at Valentino's on Saturday, the teams were are transported to area farms to hunt.  Pheasants are counted, measured, and photographed.  A European Hunt is held in the afternoon for an additional charge.  

In 2009, a cocktail reception was held Saturday, November 7th at 6:00pm followed by a dinner banquet in Valentino’s Primavera room.  Banquet attendees enjoyed steak, other culinary delights, beverages, a silent auction, and entertaining and informational speakers.

The 2009 Pheasant Hunt was a great success!  Thank you to all of our participants and sponsors.
