| Night of the Great Pumpkin is one of the most family-fun events of the entire year. Ghosts and goblins look forward to a night downtown, trick-or-treating the businesses and enjoying the goulish fun. |

Night of the Great Pumpkin 2011

It is hard to believe but the 2011 Night of the Great Pumpkin was even bigger than ever! We had the best turn out yet with well over 1,200 cosutmed kids flooding the street of downtown Beatrice. The night featured trick-or-treating businesses, the 2nd Annual Scary Scream Contest, free pumpkins, and much, much more.

The Great Pumpkin traveled around to local schools so all the students could guess his weight. The final weight was 85 lbs. The winners were:
1. Alexa Baughman - Paddock Lane School
2. Austin Neumann - St. Joseph Catholic School
3. Emma Noack - Paddock Lane School
