Charles Park Christmas Tree Lighting 2012

The Beatrice Community Hospital generously donated a permenant Christmas Tree for Charles Park in 2012

Main Street Beatrice, the Beatrice Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Beatrice Community Hospital were delighted that so many people turned out for the 2012 Christmas Tree Lighting to help kick off the holiday season!  Over 125 participants enjoyed a reception at the Carnegie Building with refreshments and music by the Homestead Dulcimer Club followed by the Christmas Tree Lighting at Charles Park.

On Sunday, November 21, 2010 Main Street Beatrice hosted the first annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and Reception at Charles Park. 

This event was a wonderful tribute to the completion of Charles Park, and a nice celebration of our community. 

The talented High School Jazz Ensemble played during the reception at the historic Carnegie building.  Our Mayor Dennis Schuster spoke a few words and lit the tree. 

After the tree lighting, folks went over to the Historic Gage County Courthouse and watched the lighting of the Courthouse with the Homestead Harmonizers and the arrival of Santa.
