Downtown Beatrice has a rich collection of historic architecture and stories that need to be preserved and enjoyed.
2019 Mother’s Day Landmark Walking Tour Sunday, May 12th – Join us for a Preservation Month event with a historic downtown Beatrice walking tour. This year’s tour will feature buildings that were part of the Beatrice Façade Improvements in 2018/2019, including a special visit inside 301 Court Street (Stone Hollow Brewing) and 420 1/2 Court Street. Starting Location is the City Auditorium, 205 N 4th Street. Tour begins at 2pm. Take mom downtown for lunch and then join us for the tour, don’t forget your walking shoes! More tours to be announced soon.
Beatrice Farmers Market
Every Thursday starting May 16th from 4:00 PM-6:30 PM

Every market brings in new treats, crafts, lots of produce, eggs, honey, baked goods, and more! Select vendors are now accepting credit and EBT cards! Head to Downtown Beatrice for a wide host of vendor choices and that great Nebraska Farmers Market Taste! We are Southeast Nebraska’s largest Farmers’ Market! Taste of Spring
Taste of Spring is a fun filled night in Downtown Beatrice!
Our 2019 event was a blast with over 300 in attendance! Thank You to everyone who made it a success!

What takes place at Taste of Spring?
It’s a social evening centered on sampling fine wines and craft beers along with filling hors d’oeuvres. We complete the evening with live acoustic music, highlighting local art, and by featuring a creative downtown location. Stay tuned for more details.
On top of this being a social evening Taste of Spring proceeds support Main Street Beatrice’s downtown improvement efforts, by attending you are making a difference in our community!

Night of the Great Pumpkin
Trick or Treating, Fun & Games, Food & Drink, Costume Photos and a Free Movie for the Kids. So bring the little ghosts, globins and other spooks for an evening of spooktacular fun in Downtown Beatrice.
Nebraska Governor’s Pheasant Hunt
The Nebraska Governor’s Pheasant Hunt is a 2-day excursion including a classic hunt and a sporting clay shoot in Gage County Nebraska with the goal of capturing the coveted Grand Champion trophy.
Local, national and international hunters are all warmly welcomed. We are extremely excited to welcome Governor Pete Ricketts to the annual Governor’s Hunt each year since 2015! In the past we have hosted hunters from Gage County New York, Texas, Florida, Nebraska, and cadet teams from West Point Academy.
Hunt events begin on Friday with an open shoot at the Beatrice Gun Club followed by a dinner reception. After an early breakfast at Valentino’s on Saturday, the teams are transported to area farms to hunt. Pheasants are counted, measured, and photographed. After pheasant turn in, hunters head out to the Patch & Powder for the Sporting Clay shoot and a lunch of hamburgers and brats. The Sporting Clay totals are added to the overall points. Winners are announced on Saturday after the clay shoot.

Santa Comes to Town – Main Street Beatrice and The Beatrice Community Hospital presents: Santa Comes Downtown. Join us for a horse drawn trolley ride complete with hot drinks and snacks.
After your trolley ride with Santa, shop and dine downtown before the Holiday Lighted Parade at 5:30 pm. Starting at Perkins Street and continuing north on 5th Street to the Carnegie Building in Downtown Beatrice.
Come early and stay late for day long community events, free kids movie, pictures with Santa, Holiday Face Painting in the Carnegie Building, shopping, dining and much more.
Chocolate Lovers Shopping Day Extravaganza
