Homestead Days Ribfest
Thank you to everyone who helped make this year's Ribfest event great!
An estimated 3,000 people visited downtown to enjoy BBQ, music, and festivities. It was a hot day, but the rain stayed away and allowed us to enjoy activities like HOOPS basketball, a bounce house, a hog calling contest, face painting, concessions, a photo booth, a carousel, and so much more.

Farmers Market
Held each year beginning in June and continuing through August, the Farmers Markets are available for consumers to enjoy and purchase high quality, fresh products directly from farmers at competitive prices. The Farmer's Market is managed by Main Street Beatrice and is one of the oldest and largest markets in Southeast Nebraska. It is held on 5th Street next to the Carnegie Building every Thursday evening, 5-7pm.
This year, we are planning to expand our Market offerings to area residents by inviting more vendors with varied goods. If you would like to participate as a vendor, please contact our office to obtain a Vendor Application or click here.
A required training workshop is being held on Monday, April 27th at 6:00pm in the City Auditorium. Representatives from multiple State departments will attend and present information and requirements and will check scales.
